چکیده
This study examined the chemical composition of essential oil extracted from bark Alseodaphne peduncularis Meisn. (Lauraceae) by hydrodistillation with 0.2% yield. The was chemically characterised gas chromatography-flame ionization detector and chromatography-mass spectrometry, 31 constituents comprising 94.3% total content were identified. These included β-caryophyllene (24.5%), viridiflorol (12.3%), δ-cadinene (9.8%), bicyclogermacrene (4.2%), respectively. tested showed moderate in vitro lipoxygenase activity an IC50 = 60.2 μg/mL. To best our knowledge, there is no report on part this species.
